MRS. DAVISON'S SECOND GRADE
Second grade is off to a good start! I am sure the second graders will have a great year. I am looking forward to it! We have 14 students who are a fun and hard working group. New friends, happy memories, and learning new information are what they can look forward to!
MY TEACHING CAREER
I graduated from Illinois State University
with a teaching degree in Special Education
and Elementary Education. I taught for
eight years in the public school system. Carroll
Catholic School has been my home now for
twenty years. I have taught Kindergarten, first
grade, and second grade. I have enjoyed working
with all levels.
My philosophy is you get what you expect from
children. If you expect the best, that is what you
get. We must believe in order for them to
believe in themselves.
My family is a very important part of my life! My husband
Don and I have been married for 40 years. We have three
children. Brett, our oldest, is married to Jessie. They have two
children, Chesney (3rd grade) and Leo (1st grade). He works
with his dad in our trucking business. John is our second son.
He works on a farm near Villa Grove. Our youngest is
Amanda. She is married to Shawn. They have a daughter, Dani
(Pre school). Amanda teaches 1st grade at Atlanta. I feel very
