MRS. DAVISON'S SECOND GRADE
Second grade is off to a good start considering all of the changes we have made this year! There are six hard working children in my class. They are adapting to masks, staying six feet apart when necessary, and just being patient when needed! I feel very blessed having them to work with.
MY TEACHING CAREER
I graduated from Illinois State University
with a teaching degree in Special Education
and Elementary Education. I taught for
eight years in the public school system. Carroll
Catholic School has been my home now for over
twenty years. I have taught Kindergarten, first
grade, and second grade. I have enjoyed working
with all levels.
My philosophy is you get what you expect from
children. If you expect the best, that is what you
get. We must believe in the children, in order for
them to believe in themselves.
MY FAMILY
My family is a very important part of my life! My husband
Don and I have been married for 41 years. We have three
children. Brett, our oldest, is married to Jessie. They have two
children, Chesney (4th grade) and Leo (2nd grade). He works
with his dad in our trucking business. John is our second son.
He is a US Postal worker in Villa Grove, Illinois. Amanda is our
youngest. She teaches 1st grade in Atlanta, Illinois. She is
married to Shawn. They have a daughter Dani (Pre-K). I feel very blessed!
